Piroscafo Fiume a Lero 1942.

Io identifico il piroscafo a sinistra come il Tarquinia.

The picture comes from the Guido Alfano collection, where it is dated July 1942, and has been posted as such by Giorgio Parodi (nickname Capt. Haddock, Alfano's friend) on naviearmatori.net. TARQUINIA also took part in the Crete landings in May 1941.

Yes it was with that picture: the opening in the hull, the ladder is how i could identify it with more certainty.
